Vet visit

Today Hiro is at the vet to have have his sutures removed. At the waiting room, the impatient boy decides he wanted to peek into the examination room to check why it's taking so long. His sutures have not completely healed. So, he'll be back later in the week to remove the rest of the stitches.

Sunday Synchronicity

Surgery Day

The day began like any other. Usual morning walk.... but much shorter distance.

No breakfast. So, he spent this morning napping before leaving to the vet.

Prepping for surgery. Some anti-histamine and antibiotics on drip first.
Calm boy on the table. Barking like crazy in the cage after 5 minutes locked in while on drip.

His whining because he's in the cage.

Surgery went well. Tumours removed on one side. The other lumps (1 big 1 small) are fat deposits. Vet said no need to remove.
Stitches will be removed in 10 days.

Tapau back, wiped down, fed and resting now. Bandage (half-hanging) will be removed tomorrow morning. Hopefully, he doesn't need to wear too much of the cone of shame.

Light walking and no bathing until next Sunday.
